Dr. Wooley is a native Texan who has practiced pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine in San Antonio since 1979. He has been very active in the medical community, having served as chief of staff of St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital and Kindred Hospital. He has been director of the intensive care units at several area hospitals.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care and is a member of the American Sleep Medicine Association. He has established himself as a leader in the medical community by setting standards of excellence for the care of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
